#16 White House

This doesn't look much like the White House but I wanted to use some striped "Lincoln" fabric I had and I also decided the flag & cannon fabric would be a nice touch in the corners. I have a few fabrics with civil war motifs - what better place to use them?

April is almost over and our weather is finally starting to turn a corner! We had temps in the 80s today plus blue skies and sun. I sat outside for awhile and actually got hot. No complaints here.

#15 Fort Sumter

I decided to use an Abraham Lincoln fabric that I bought at City Quilts in New York City. I felt it was time to inject some Civil War symbols into this quilt.

Seeing Red!

I have been experiencing some technical difficulties with my blog, specifically with publishing my photos. I'm very frustrated because I have some wonderful pictures, new and different for a change, to share from my recent trip to New York. You have probably read about Infinite Variety on other quilt blogs and I have been wanting to participate! If this post is successful, look for more to come.
